Your question would be better answered if it was more specific. Read this thread (criteria for choosing Ecuador) which should help you narrow down the reason(s) why you want to migrate.

For some people Ecuador is a great option and for others not so much. For retirees seeking a change in life it's a good choice if Ecuador meets their specific criteria. For employment seekers there are immense challenges considering unemployment and underemployment. Not knowing Spanish adequately is a major hindrance and should never be underestimated. 

IMO the country is scenically beautiful. The climate is superb. The people are wonderful, and it's easy to live a healthy lifestyle here. All of these things meet my criteria so I give it a thumbs up.
