I need some help

Hi everybody  :D

I want to move to Denmark to my girlfriend.
The problem is that I am really new to all this. I do not know like how to get a job, and how can i get permission to live in Denmark?
So if anyone could maybe tell me their experience all from beginning? How did you get permission to live in Denmark and how did you get a job? Maybe also how you got that CPR-number.

I hope you're not as confused as I am  :|

Others may be able to help you better, but

as Croatia is part of the EU, Croatians have the right to move to other EU states.

Your job situation will depend on your education and skills. Try to make a search in English on the Danish google search engine. If your profession is a very sought after profession, the language won't matter so much, but for most others only odd jobs will be available. and you have to learn Danish to find a proper job, but you will be offered free language courses as soon as you have got your CPR number.

I take that you move in at your girlfriend's. This will be sufficient for a CPR number. Living together with another person will also decrease the requirements for the income. A paper delivery job may be enough to meet the income requirements, and those jobs are easy to find.

Hi Nellie.

Thank you for your answer!
I have been thinking about how do I search for the CPR number? And who should I tell that I moved to Denmark?

Do you intend settling down in Aarhus? Aarhus is the second largest town in Denmark and welcome many expats why you can find the necessary information in English on their homepage. Despite where you settle down, the rules are the same. Every municipality has a Borgerservice (citizen service) where you go to have your papers fixed.
