Hie, am a Malawian. Lilongwe is the most exciting but yet expensive city. rentals for houses ranges from 200 dollars to 3000 dollars. they are some quite neighbourhoods for expats which are normally expensive and they are some areas where u can live side by side with the locals. it all depends on your budget. as well it depends on what you intend to do here in Malawi thus is it leisure or business or work..these will determine where u will be residing. i mean the district.
