Hi my family and I (myself, wife and 2 kids aged 14 and 15) are thinking of moving to New Zealand.
I am currently talking to an IT-company and they might offer me a contract.
I was wondering what the housing prices are in the Auckland-area.
Can anyone help me?

Housing prices and rents are astronomically expensive in Auckland.
I suggest you use your search engine to check the prices out.

Dunedin is the cheaper city. Also take a look at small rural towns.
Any city or town within an hour or so of Auckland is getting more expensive.
Where I am at present, the house prices have risen 47% in 5 years as it is only an hour to Auckland.
