ATP tournament in Sofia

Starting this week at the national indoor arena, some big players attending. Good to see Dimitrov there after he didn't show for the first event of it's type in Bulgaria last year. Also there will be Thiem and several other top players and a few youngsters given wild cards from Bulgaria that show promise to rise up through the rankings.  It's a ranking event with 250 ATP points going to the winner and over half a million in prize money overall. If you're into tennis it's the most local event for professionals in the area alongside Bucharest and Istanbul, why Greece doesn't have an event is a wonder especially with Greco-Australian Kyrgios is a big name and Baghdatis with Greek lineage. (Kokkanakis too, Australian but from his name is as Australian as half of their players) Don't like how Canada, Australia, the US and even Germany now are offering citizenship to sports players to represent them and improve their national status in the world, the majority of their flagwavers aren't even from those countries.
