Hello everyone,

Living in Turkey provides countless occasions to browse local newspapers, listen to local radio stations or watch local TV shows. As everywhere else in the world, local media play a key role in informing the public.

What are the major media in Turkey? Which one do you use on a regular basis?

How do you keep up with international issues (newspapers, radio, TV, Internet)?

Depending on the age group, the popular mediums range from newspapers/TV/radio to social media.
A lot of people prefer to read newspapers and watch TV. However, trend is changing towards social media rapidly as twitter is becoming the new trend in catching quick headlines.

For me personally, it varies. For news from back home, while I rely on friends' feeds, I often check online newspapers.
For work, I follow anything from online newspapers to subscribed magazines.
And for personal interests, twitter and instagram are good mediums to follow.
