Hi,

When living in a foreign country, you have to adapt to a new environment, various cultures and different social codes.

How did you manage to adjust to Finland?

How long does it take to feel at home? Would you say it is an easy process?

According to you, what is key for a successful integration process in Finland?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience!

Hi,
Day by day life in Finland is pretty easy. The country is a wonderful place to leave. Time to adapt varies according to each person and culture. In my case, I would pick up the Finnish language as the most important factor on speed up the process of adaptation. Still it can be a major obstacle as it is not easy to learn. If you have children you will be astonished by the high level of education. Professional life is another point of friction as Fins are very conservatives with foreigners. After all, it worth a try.
