A trip to Bahrain

What are the requirements to enter Bahrain, Like :-

1) Exit/re-entry visa ,

Husband had a rental car, that we too, to Bahrain and he had to get a permission letter from the place he hired it from

Yes. Authorization letter will be needed from the car rental company.
