JUST MOVED TO TRIPOLI - Need something to do

This will be the 3rd visit to Tripoli this year and 1st time on Expat.com. The last 2 visits were just 4 week stretches and then back to the UK for about a month and back again. This time I will be here for 3-6 months. I have been to 1 hash house harriers run last time and really enjoyed that and heard of other stuff like the oasis club but haven't had the oppurtunity to find out more about it.My friend who was here has left to work in afghanistan and I didnt manage to get their email so I can sign up and try other places.

As I want to avoid staying in the 4 walls of my hotel in Bab binGhaseer in my spare time, I was wondering if anyone could help me get the hash house email and any other stuff I can do or other groups around here.

I will really appreciate any help with this and If anyone wants to meet up feel free to send me message

Then try the SEARCH function to look for activities that you might be interested in, as most sports have been covered, so you'll find info on what there is/not.

Could you let me know who I could contact directly about the Hash? I tried to sign up via their US website as well as contact some friends in DC for add'l info, but had no luck finding them when I was in Tripoli this summer. I will be back for a month between late November and late December.

I would also like to find a nice gym. I wound up going to the Raddison most days, but they charge an arm and a leg.

Does anyone know about good, affordable gym facilities in Tripoli that are available to women either before work or after?
