Can anyone recommend a dentist?

I feel like my face is about to explode and the painkiller that I just took is having no effect at all.

Hiya I've pasted a link which is also in English of all the Dentists in the area.  Barcelona has a very good Dental school and there are loads of dental practices around although the problem you may find is that some are still closed for holidays.  Have you taken an anti-inflammatory to get the swelling down, because they won't be able to do anything if it is inflamed.  Sending all my positive energy

Awww, thanks. I like you. :)

I've actually found one already and will be going this afternoon.

That is insane.

It doesn't cost that much here.

The dentist that I went to has the following prices:

Small tooth coloured composite filling (1 surface)             30 euros
Medium tooth coloured composite filling (2 surfaces)            45 euros
Large tooth coloured composite filling (3surfaces)            55 euros
Root filling (endodontic therapy) front tooth (1 canal)            120 euros
Root filling (endodontic therapy) back tooth (3 canals)    180 euros

That was an English expat dentist, Catalan dentists prices are similar (but they were all on holiday in August), and you can find a South American dentist for less money.

If Sanitas covers everything for €9 then that sounds like a good deal to me. I might look into it.

As far as health is concerned, I have been involved in the normal health service and private here in Spain.  Private is great if you need attention quickly, although you have to pay for all your own medicines, but i am actually quite impressed with the normal medical service although obviously if you need xrays, specialists etc., there are waiting lists.  I've been lucky with me teef (!!) and not had anything wrong with them, with Adeslas private health insurance you got a free cleaning each year.
