Running Partner / Running Groups

Depending on where you live, a visit to the local public park will be good. Lots of people walk and jog at these public parks, and before long you will be able to find a few good running buddies.

If you are interested in serious running, you should get in touch with the "Bahrain Road Runners". They are a group of serious running fanatics and have a number of runs and meets when the weather improves. This is their website:

even excerise part was ok for me !!! but i dont drink..  other than that it looks like fun and will be able to meet new people

You can watch others drink.

I think it would be worth doing at least once...or a few dozen times.  I think some people here is RV may try it out soon.  If we do, I will let you know!

"Hashing" aside

Bahrain Road Runners is great - they have fantastic events and they do a 3km or 5km run every weekend.  They have Junior runners as well so you don't need to be super fit to attend.

Great group of people who are really passionate about their sport.  Also they run the Biathlons, Triathlons and Aquathons on the Island.

I want to join any runners! I do long distances preferably and will be staying at the crowne plaza hotel in early December ; 2-6. If anyone fancies a scenic run around that time please let me know! I have my own running group i organize here every Friday morning called Q8FootSoldiers
