Health care qualification

To qualify for national do you have to be a resident?   If you must wait a long time do you pay out of pocket or can a pensioner buy private care till they can get CAJA.     Thank u

Yes, you are required to be a legal Resident to join CAJA. Until then, you must pay 'out of pocket' for both treatment and Rx's. You may consider private or travel insurance but they may not cover existing conditions. ContactGarrett Insurance and ask the questions you have. They will not issue you a new policy if you are 70+.even as a legal Resident.
