Simply he is running a service to pick people up by car, cross the border to Oman and come back so they can exit on their expiring visa and re-enter on the new visa.

I don't believe your message is accurate. It is only true for those who DO NOT need a visa to enter the UAE and they hold a valid visit visa.

A visitor's visa will specify a period of time you can travel to and remain in the UAE. If your time limit is almost up, you can visit one of the neighboring countries and return. The new visa stamp begins your visit timely al over.

For those who may need an entry visa, the process will entail you applying for a visa to the country you are visiting when you re-enter the UAE.

If you are on work permit visa, and you are close to the end of your contract, it does not help if your visa duration is linked to your work permit. Those have to be renewed together.

Hope this has been helpful. If I am mistaken, others can correct.

Good stuff Malec, will keep you in mind. Stuart F
