Expats in Campinas SP

Are there any expats in Campinas and are there any social meetings taking place. If so would anyone be kind enough to inform me of this as I would very much Like to maintain contact with my own as well as others. Kindest regards Mark and Leila

hey Robin Hood, eh i don't know of any groups, you might want to check with the American School of Campinas (http://www.escolaamericanadecampinas.com.br/?home)as many of their teachers are Americans (i actually ran into one at the consulate in SP) so i know they are there, and probably have their own get togethers since they are all located. I'm not in Campinas, but i'm only about 30 minutes away. so if you can't find a group, then we can pioneer one ourselves

Hey Mark,

I know you posted this about a year ago, are you still living in Campinas? Have you met many Americans there yet? I'm American, moving to Campinas this September with my Brazilian wife and 2 kids. Would definitely like to hear from you if you're still around.
