Moving to Al Ain in Aug

Hi All,

We are planning to move to Al Ain this Aug/Sept with my wife and 3 kids 8, 11 and 15.

My wife will have work visa and I will most probably be a bum for a few months and will look to set up some sort of business in the service sector. I understand you need a sponsor to set up any type of business, and is it even possible for a foreigner to set up a business in Al Ain?

Has anyone done this and is it easy to find a sponsor? any information relating to setting a business will be much appreciated. As we find our way around the city is it quite easy to make new friends? I am concerned I will get bored quite quick. Wife will have her job, kids will be in school and poor old me will be left to cook, watch day time TV and pull my hair out!!!!
