hei,

I'm looking for some good information about living in the Haugesund Region. We (family with two kids) want to move to this area of Norway, so not only Haugesund but also looking at regions like Etne, Findafjord, Sveio and perhaps Sauda < depends of job location :-)

We want to know what kind of places there are, the way of living and ofcourse the school possibilities for 2 boys (age of 10)

Hello,

Haugesund is a nice little town. I lived there for four years. It has everything you need, and more urban amenities than you should expect from a town of that size. There are also good job opportunities in the shipping/offshore industries. There are many schools, and even a university college.
