Hello...
I am moving out to Abu Dhabi in a few weeks. I am so excited, slightly nervous as it's a massive change, but it will be an adventure. I need to sort out a mobile. Is it best to buy a handset in the uk, (get it unlocked to use abroad/get a phone that allows me to use a foreign sim card) or buy one on arrival in Abu Dhabi...?? HELP PLEASE...
If anyone knows of any good phone networks or what they have done in this situation then please please message me

You can use any standard phone in UAE. All brands and varities of mobile phones are usually available here. Etisalat and Du are the two official and approved service providers for phone, internet. Etisalat also provides the Television service through the same optic fiber network they use for internet and phone.
