We are an Australian family possibly moving to Dublin in 2013 for my husband's work. We have 3 children (aged 4, 7 and 9). He will be working south of the river and we'd like to live somewhere with a maximum commute time for my husband of one hour, but hopefully less. I was hoping someone could please recommend some places we should consider to live, which would have a great community, lots of families, good public schools, lots of activities and facilities available, plus restaurants, shopping etc. I will have a car but my husband will catch public transport to and from work. Would Malahide be a good choice? Appreciate your advice, thank you.
