Hi all,

Can a foreigner take the driving test in Oman?

What are the formalities to get a driver’s licence in Oman?

Do you need special or extra documents being an expatriate?

How much does it cost?

Thank you for participating ;).

Hello Armand,

- Yes foreigner can take the driving test in Oman

- first should be over than 18 yo then you have to for test eyes, if you drive and you got your license only automatic transmission you are not allowed to drive manual gear if police knows that .

- well if you have your country license you should go for a test but not all countries i think asian countries, but only road test.

- it depends for how much you know driving and there is two way for learning by hour or full time till you get the license.

- learning by hour that mean you have to pay per a hour  around 13 USD.

- Full time learning till you get the license you have to pay around 1000 USD that includ the test and i think three times or 4 times road and barrels test.

Hope that's good enough if there's any question i'm here

Note :
No Life Without Manual Gear :D
