dependent Visa

Hey,

My fiancee has moved to brazil some months back on a work permit , we are getting married in feb 2013, so can i get a dependent visa?? how ?? and how long does the procedure takes?

Hi Rini,

The only way you can get a dependent visa is if your husband has, at the very minimum, a temporary visa and is here on a work contract. You should check with the Consulado-Geral do Brasil nearest where you live to find out all the requirements.

If your husband is a Brazlian citizen then you can apply for a permanent visa "com base em conjuge brasileiro".
