Hi,
I'd love to talk with people about what it's like to live/work in Monaco and the feasibility of finding work there.
I'm a 35 year old New Zealand guy currently living in the Netherlands. I've just started looking into the possibility of working in Monaco (this post is the start of my research :-)
My wife & I own a house in Italy about 30 mins drive from Monaco and our dream to live there and work in Monaco (and probably rent an appartment in Monaco to stay in during the week).
I work in finance as a senior IT business analyst for a large investment bank, I specialise in credit and market risk management. I have an EU (Italian) passport.
I'd very much like to hear from people who live/work in Monaco to find out how they did it, or from people who are thinking about moving there. I'm curious to learn about what it's like to live and work in Monaco.
Any tips anyone has about how to make contacts within the banking/IT world there, or general tips on living there, I'd very much appreciate hearing them.
I'm going to be in San Remo and was planning to visit Monaco next week (Thursday 17th Sep 2009) so if anyone in Monaco is reading this and would like to meet up for a drink let me know..
Cheers,
Corran
