Hey, I am looking at an offer from qatar, the offer is 4.5K/month. they will provide transportation and accomodation. But will 4.5K be good to cover cost of living and extras for saving.

Also, some people are panicing about going to Qatar, saying that political issue between Egypt and Qatar could jeopordize my employment and income there...is it true? do they kick out egyptians and take away their earnings?

Is public transportation easy to use and available?

Thank you,

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

I think 4.5k will be enough for you if you are alone i mean for your food as long they providing you transportation and accommodation.
And what you hear about political issue between Egypt and Qatar nothing right here so many Egyptian working and they never do something like that in Qatar. also nobody can away your earning

Hello Sarah,
4.5k is not that good for a job here. It depends on you of course, but if you want to live comfortably (dine out a couple of times a week, buy clothes, etc) you'll probably end up spending 3k. Public transportation here is totally screwed. Buses are very few, very late and do not run after 9. Not to mention that 99% of the time you will be the only girl on the bus. This means you will have to depend on taxis, and those are usually private (like hitchhiking except that you have to pay). Taxis are expensive too. A ride that might cost you 10 LE in Egypt will probably cost you 20-30 riyals over here.
Anyway, just message me if you need more info.

HI SARAH,

YES,SAVING DEPENDS ON HOW YOU WISELY CONTROL THE SPENDING,

THERE ARE SOME EGYPTIANS WHO ARE GETTING EVEN LESS SALARY WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO GET...STILL THEY ARE LIVING HERE..

I AM NOT AWARE OF YOUR PROFESSION   I WOULD GIVE YOU SOME HINT TO BARGAIN UR SALARY...

I WOULD LIKE TO SUGGEST ASK FOR A GOOD ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD ALLOWANCE AND REQUEST THEM TO GIVE CAR AFTER GETTING THE DRIVING LICENSE...

FINALLY I WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME YOU FOR QATAR....IF YOU NEED ANY HELP MAIL ME...OK ALL THE BEST

i don't think caps or small alphabet have different meaning unlike in Article....most of the philipinos write in capital only....indians tooo..i will give importance to the content only, i never bother abt caps or small or font ....like i am bothering about the coconut not shell...

ok thank u very much for the comments..i will try to implement....

Harmonie

This is the forum netiquette ssbbsh2010, writing in Caps lock on a forum is considered as shouting!

No need to shout cause we can hear you perfectly.;)
