Buying/moving to Bulgaria

That's not a problem. The main thing is being happy with your purchase and whatever the agent does for you. Just sometimes it is too late that you find out there is a problem. Recently We had some people who thought that they owned a property because the agent assured them they did, the paperwork was all done by the notary and because they didn't know Bulgaria took it all on trust. As it turned out they didn't own it at all and it should never have been sold.
These thing happen it's a sad fact. Just be extra careful the UK rules don't apply.

I understand that, but I just don't understand why people buy a house in a country they don't know a thing about. A little research would have warned them against the possible risks.
Finding a good lawyer to seal the deal is also important.

I wouldn't know about UK rules, because I'm Dutch ;)
