Hi,

I am slightly confused by 90/180 visa rule.

I entered Turkey last June 15, and left Sept 15. Used all 90 day visa free allowance. When can I re enter Turkey to be able to stay again 90 days. Would that be Dec 15?

Andrey Ryazantsev

Yes, sounds right. No more than 90 days of stay per every half of year.

after using up the 90 days you have to stay out for 60 days before you can enter again.

When a visa is issued, it details 2 dates: 1) Valid from 2) Valid Until.

For example, I traveled on Dec 22, 2023 and returned March 17, 2024 which is 86 days. I could have returned and stayed 4 more days max during the visa valid dates. My visa stated it is valid from Dec 2023 until June 2024, which is a 6 month span.  If I wanted to go back to Turkey, I would have to wait until July 1, 2024 to return for another 90 days.

I do not understand, you seem to spend 180 days abroad (your employer allows), why not move to Turkey permanently right now reather then travelling and spend a lot of money.
