Appointment with Federal Police in São Paulo

Hi,

The Brazilian Consulate approved my Vitem XI visa.  And now I need to travel to Brazil and meet with the Federal Police.  I don't seem to be able to find the correct site to schedule an interview with them.  Or can I do this at the Guarulhos without an appointment upon arrival?  Would someone help with this?  Thank-you!!

Welcome!  Where are you planning to live?  The best place to register is the PF office in the city where you're going to be living.  Barring that, it will be in the city where you'll be staying as you get settled, which will probably be your spouse's/partner's hometown.

You could try doing it at Guarulhos on arrival, if you're not too exhausted.  At the very least, they can tell you for sure where you should go.

Thank-you for the recommendations!

Boa tarde!

Parabéns! Yes, I was also approved for a Vitem Visa.  I arrived to Joao Pessoa, Paraiba (Northeast) in June, 2022.  I made an appointment online with the PF after about a month.  Then went in person.  I received my RG number (National Registration Number) the same day, and I was able to pick up my RG Card at the same PF location about a month after that.  Very straight forward process happily.  Haha. 1f923.svg Many other things I have had MUCH MORE bureaucracy and difficulty.  Especially with DETRAN!

Boa sorte com tudo amigo!

Obrigado!

@boseyedr You can try here. Register on this page, https://servicos.dpf.gov.br/agenda-web/formulario/13

After you register you will have the option to make an appointment in the city you specify. You will receive an email confirming your registration, then you move on to the second step of making an appointment on the available day of your choice

You can start the appointment process here. First you register then you will have a second option to make an appointment on the day of your choice.

I'm not sure I understood, but do you need to register your visa? If so, you can find the info here:

https://www.gov.br/pt-br/servicos/regis … -no-brasil

You'll likely have to go to the office on R. Hugo D'Antola, 95 - Água Branca, São Paulo. Unfortunately, they do not seem to have any other offices in São Paulo for immigrants. It can be quite far if you're staying elsewhere.

Make absolutely sure that you take your protocol with you or they won't let you in.

For registering your visa, you have some time to do it before settling into the country. You definitely can't do it without an appointment, and you need to have your documents translated juramentada in Brazil.

Trust me, I've been to the PF four times...

Hello. My request to alter the term of my residence from temporary to indeterminate (based on retirement) was approved and published in the Official Gazette on January 30, 2023. I have 30 days from that date to go to the Federal Police in Salvador to register my new residency permit and obtain a new CRNM.

Do you know if I can register and make an appointment online at this site?

If not, what site would it be?

@Soliloquy20203  You want this site:  Just follow the prompts…https://www.gov.br/pf/pt-br/assuntos/imigracao/navegacao-guiada-da-regularizacao-migratoria/voce-esta-no-brasil

Well  not sure why the link is under review but whenever it is approved, just follow the prompts, YES you are in Brasil, Yes you have a DOU, etc.
