First of all, I introduce myself: My name is Francesco and I am a young engineer from Italy.
I read many topics here, sent e-mail etc but still not very clear to me something about procedure. I am not worried about the italian side because an Italian agency can easily deal with everything here. I am a private IT citizen, i want to buy a car which is in Greece at the moment. The owner is a private one too, in Greece.
What do I need to buy the car and drive it back to Italy? In particular, as an Italian citizen, can I own - for a short time - a car in Greece? so, can Greek offices register the car as mine there? What doc should I provide? Is there the possibility to purchase a temporary insurance for the way back home? Or is there the way to obtain a temporary/custom plate? How to deal with it?
How long does it take to complete the procedure?
