Job description

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, you would be responsible for assessing individuals' mental health, diagnosing mental health disorders, and providing evidence-based therapy to address various concerns such as anxiety, depression, addiction, and relationship issues. Your role would involve developing personalized treatment plans and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Additionally, you would play a vital role in crisis intervention, maintaining accurate records, providing psycho-education, and advocating for mental health awareness and support in the community.

Responsibilities

• Conducting psychological assessment.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to adults, couples and families.
• Addressing a wide range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, addiction, grief, relationship issues among other issues.
• Developing treatment plans and creating personalized based on patient's needs, goals and diagnosis.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals such as psychiatrists and/or medical doctors to ensure a comprehensive and integrated care for patients.
• Providing psycho-education: Educating patients and families on their diagnosis and treatment options.
• Continuing education: Staying updates with the latest research, therapeutic techniques and ethical guidelines through continuous professional developments, attending conferences, training and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master's or Doctorate level qualification in Clinical Psychology, demonstrating a solid foundation of academic excellence.
• Completion of specialized training, supervision, and a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the field, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of clinical practice.
• Dubai Health Authority licensure, validating adherence to local regulatory standards and commitment to providing exceptional care.
• Preference will be given to candidates with training and experience in the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States (USA)
• Specific expertise in specialized areas of clinical psychology will be considered a distinct advantage.
