The job titles for the position I’m seeking include trainer, training and development specialist, learning specialist or instructor. My best job fit would be a full-time training delivery position in either a large company with a Training or Learning & Development department or a vendor, continuing education institution or consulting firm that offers training services to other companies. While I can do light instructional design, my strengths are in training delivery, facilitation and coaching. Although I’ve worked in multiple industries, my talents and subject matter expertise in leadership development, communication and interpersonal skills are transferable to any industry.

I’m a talented, experienced and board-certified global training, learning and talent development specialist with a business-focused and customer service orientation. I’ve been acknowledged as a highly competent trainer, facilitator and consultant enabling performance improvement and increased organizational effectiveness. I’m proficient in developing leadership and technical competencies in the classroom, on-the-job and virtual. I’ve been recognized for my expertise in training trainers and influencing all levels of an organization for optimal results. I’m an agile learner with strong communication, collaborative, organizational, planning and implementing skills. My accomplishments include:
• Delivered 150 professional development courses across eight global regions to over 2500 managers and employees resulting in improved organizational health and business results.
• Facilitated manufacturing lead development program covering safety, good manufacturing practice, lean manufacturing, finance and compliance. Program graduates identified $250,000 in annual cost savings.
• Trained, coached and qualified 300 diverse trainers in eight global regions on instructor competencies which standardized training delivery and enhanced organization’s ability to address customer challenges.
Brian holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He has earned the following professional certifications: Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) from the Association of Talent Development and Modern Classroom Certified Trainer (MCCT) from Logical Operations.
