If you're considering bringing your vehicle here to live, there are very heavy import taxes that makes it a ridiculous option. (I've heard as high as the price of the car's value.)  I can't think of any other reason you might want to bring your car down, so I'd say sell it and consider buying something here when the time is right. (Be prepared for high prices, at least from a US perspective.)
