Veterans VSO in Ecuador?

randyboot

Good Morning,

Trying to find out if it possible to schedule a C&P in Ecuador? Sorry for the shorthand here but, only a few subscribers will understand the question or have any sort of answer.

BACKGROUND: Making another claim in VA system and they require location for C&P, either home address or alternate location. Do not want to submit with alternate location that won't work.

I am a vet with AO related 80% rating. VA anted to examine nme to "see if a higher rate was justified." They wanted me to go to Madison Wisconsin VA hospital. I contacted the Oklahoma City office to reschedule but they simply cancelled the appointment. They would not consider an exam here in Ecuador.
I strongly urge you to get an attorney. CVSOs are helpful, but they are not advocates. An attorney will intervene on your behalf.

@randyboot Did you ever find a solution to this as I may be in the same boat.

Thank you,

@randyboot  Good morning, Randy. After requesting an increase due to two broken discs in my back following seven knee surgeries, I requested that the exam be done in Cuenca. After almost a year of waiting and weekly calls, my request was granted. Ironically, the referred me to a doctor that I was already seeing here. You will need to contact the Citizens' Services at the embassy in Quito or consulate in Guayaquil.  I finally was awarded 100% P&T! Good luck my friend.
