Looking for expats near Ambato, Ecuador

GuestPoster001

Hello,

My name is Yvette.  I am a Native New Yorker.  My parents were both Puerto Rican.  I first moved to Ecuador about 25 years ago with my Native Ecuadorian husband, Antonio.  During this time we have gone back and forth to and from the US.  We have now settled here and would like to meet American and/or Puerto Rican expats that live near Ambato, Ecuador which is about 20 minutes from where we live.  I have noticed that most expats move to Cuenca, Quito, Guayaquil, etc., which are very nice areas but a bit distant from us.

We love Ecuador and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to live.

Hi Edwin,

Thanks for responding.  Hope you are settling in well.  Isamba is a nice area.  I only know one American expat that actually lives in my town.  She is always so busy with her religious activities so we don't get together often.  Please let me know if you meet other expats and maybe we can all get together sometime.  Good luck!

Hi Susan,

Thanks for welcoming me.  Too bad we live so far away from each other.  Otherwise we would be able to hang out once in awhile.  I read that you might be going to Quito.  Good luck if you do go.
