Balance the increase in IESS with Colombia's taxing world wide income......
The question of how IESS rates will be affected for those with other than pensionista visas will play into this also..

Unfortunately, Swami's crystal ball is in the shop for repairs and polishing.

I happen to agree that the IESS increases deserve a new thread.

Depends on where they have the most real estate for sale.  Gonna be harder to sell Ecuador if a $2,000/month SSA check gonna cost $352/ in health insurance.  I pay $110/month for Medicare parts A&B in the USA, which includes free diagnostic tests.

I just found out that one if my insiders was sitting in the front row of that meeting. I plan to harvest some info from them tomorrow. It is going on this thread unless one of our experts has created a thread for it.

Another aspect to consider is the forced use of dinero electronico.........
Imagine if they start this.......no end to what they can create out of air.........gee what could possibly go wrong with this??
