RESIDENTE VS PERMANENTE

MHSPCZONE

Hi
I hope you are all fine and doing good.

I have a question and it's confusing me for almost 4 days.
I have applied for residence based on Stable Union and it was immediately approved, luckily!
I saw in the classification section, it shows Residente but in the older cards such as CIE it was written Permanente. Confusion is that Residente is also Permanente or it's just a temporary residence.
I asked some other friends who got married recently and received CRNM, they also had the same Residente classification. Please tell something about it.

Congratulations!

I think it's just a change in wording in the transition from the CIE to the CRNM, so nothing to worry about.

The CIE wasn't really "permanent" for anyone under 60 either, because it still needed to be renewed periodically.  The new wording just clarifies what was already true in practice.
