Hello Amit,

On behalf of the entire Expat-blog Team welcome on board. I hope your experience on the blog will be both enjoyable and informative.

I will give you the same advice that I have for everyone seeking employment here in Brazil. While English is often heralded as the "universal language of commerce" the language is not widely spoken here in Brazil, not even in business circles. This is especially true in Logistics, so for you learning Portuguese is essential since you will need to be able to communicate well with co-workers, superiors and clients. You should begin learning the language as soon as possible, certainly long before coming here is the best. Good luck in your job search.

Cheers,
