Digital nomad visa for freelancers?

Hey everyone, thank you for the feedback you already gave me. My partner decided to go a different route and apply for a digital nomad visa. She's a freelance voice actor in Germany and will continue to work remotely during her time in Brazil.

However, she does not have an employment contract, which I read may be an issue. Could anyone chime in on this? I specifically have questions about the following things that are unique to her line of work:

  1. Declaration from the applicant who attests to the ability to perform his/her professional activities remotely, through information and communication technologies

We found a sample declaration from the Munich embassy. What else should this contain in the case of a freelancer? She can record everything from her computer.

  1. Copy of the Employment contract or contract for provision of services or other documents proving the link with a foreign employer

As a freelancer, she doesn't really have contracts, as she works on an invoice basis. She can, however, offer a letter from her agent (not technically an employer, but someone who finds work for her) and from a client who she will record an audiobook for in February. Usually her work comes very last minute (1-2 days prior), but maybe there's something that the agent can attest to this? What would you advise here? Is this enough?

  1. Proof of means of subsistence, from a foreign paying source, in a monthly amount equal to or greater than US$ 1,500.00 (one thousand five hundred U.S. dollars) or availability of bank funds in the amount of US$ 18,000.00 (eighteen thousand U.S. dollars).

This is not an issue. She has much more than this in savings and for a single job she makes more than 1,500 dollars. The problem is that she cannot prove that she will make money every month 6+ months in advance. Will the bank funds be enough?

Thank you so much.

Here is how I would do this.........I am not an immigation lawyer, but I can think like a Brasilian bureaucrat..........I've had to do something similar with them, but not income related, and the logic of it worked.

-file the notarized declaration from the consulate website.

-have her create and notarize a cover letter explaing what she is ending and why.

-file a cover letter notarized by her agent on letterhead, indicating exactly the number of one time engagements he/she has generated for her, and from who, in the time period they require (12-24 months or whatever it is).

-have her submit copies of the invoices for each of those, as a single invoice is proof of a contract and payment for a one time service, and a lengthy pattern of them indicates the ability to generate the income they require over the period they are looking for. This will provide  evidence of long term income generation, and give veracity to the claims of the agents letter and his/her ability to continue to fulfill and provide an income stream.

-file 12-24 months of corroborating bank statements showing the regular income stream entering her account from those invoices to substantiate it by matching it up. Also, the proof of funds on deposit in excess of $18,000 USD is required, but you said she has that already.

-you'll probably need to use Adobe PDF to link all the invoices together to create the one file to download on their consulate website.

Can she support that ?
