Vaccine “requirements for Brazilian applying for US tourist visa

Ipanema777

ALL:
I’m trying to assist an adult Brasileira in her 40’s obtain a US tourist visa. She has a paper record of taking the COVID vaccine 2X, but has no other proof of having taken the childhood vaccines.

I have read the official US CIS vaccine guidance at the link below.

So beyond the “official” answer,  I’m seeking RECENT real world experience of Brazilians who go to US-consulate approved doctors to obtain a medical clearance to enter the USA. Is there a “jeito brasileiro” to fulfill the vaccine requirements for a US *tourist*  visa?

POINT OF INFORMATION:  I recently helped a young 20-y/o brasileiro obtain an F-1 visa and he was never asked about his vaccine records at his consulate interview in Rio.

Thank you for any advice that you can provide!

Once you get your Doctor’s medical clearance, the consulate doesn’t care as long as the forms about your health history are filled out correctly by you and the doctor. My wife has done it 3 times.

That link you shared is discussing immigrant visas. A tourist visa (B-2) is a “non-immigrant visa”, that is its not used as a means to permanently immigrate to the USA. Non-immigrant visas typically do not require a vaccination record to submit an application including the B-2.
