I married my Brazilian sweetheart in August, 2023. No visit was made in our case, but I read that the Policia Federal MAY visit should they decide to. I had my Retirement Residency previously, and then obtained my RG Indeterminda after our marriage.  Permanent residency without a need to renew. Good luck with everything!

06/18/25 @LIfire838.  Welcome!  @MA22's experience is pretty typical:  the PF can do a home visit for residency cases, but they mostly limit home visits to naturalization cases, probably for resource reasons.  If you already have your CRNM, you can feel pretty sure that they won't be visiting.  Have a good trip!
