Recommendations to send documents from Brazil to USA

mikehunter

I’m waiting on my CRNM to arrive, it has been 45 days with the same status:

“Sua documento foi encaminhado para impressao”.  I’ve got the procuracao ready in case it is needed to have a friend pick it up and send it to me to USA.  Does anyone have a recommendation for a service to use?  I was thinking about Correios International Express.

Express via SEDEX. My parents used that whenever they sent me something important. But, have your friend confirm that with the mail system in Brazil (Correios e Telegrafos). Best wishes.

01/18/24 @mikehunter.  DHL.  It will cost more, but it will reach you.  Personally, I wouldn't entrust vital documents to the Post Office.

I agree - I would only use DHL or Fedex in this case, and they are actually quite quick...!

Well, still same status and I leave next week.  Do you folks think it is worthwhile to stop by the PF to see if by some chance they have a system issue and my card is there, or do you think that would be a waste of time.  I’d prefer to pickup the card myself, but will use the DHL method if need be.   Thanks!

I'd go by the office, unless it's terribly inconvenient.  Can't hurt.
