Visa needed to enter Brazil for RNM

deafmgecko

Hello, I'm an American citizen living in Brasilia with my wife who is Brazilian.  I have a question.  I recently got RNM.  We are planning to go to America for a visit next month.  Since Brazil is requiring a visa from Americans beginning on October 1, do I need to apply a visa for Brazil even though I have a RNM?   I tried to do a search but I couldn't find it.  Thank you!

No - if you have a current permanent visa, like you say, you do not need a tourist visa as well...

For those US citizens who will need tourist visas for Brazil, the Brazilian government pushed the requirement to start on January 10th, 2024.
