Helping others find rentals in Brisbane – looking for feedback

Hi everyone,

During our time studying at the University of Queensland, we really struggled to find a place to rent. Most available rentals were either already taken, hidden in scattered Facebook posts, or never made it to the big listing websites at all. It was frustrating, especially as newcomers without a local network.

To help others avoid the same experience, we’re working on a small, non-commercial project to make informal and hard-to-find rentals in Brisbane more accessible. The platform brings together listings from Facebook groups, forums, Gumtree, and other sources into one place, with customizable filters and real-time alerts.

At this stage, we’re looking for a few people to test the early version and share feedback — what works, what doesn’t, and what would make it more helpful.

It’s completely free, and there's no signup required to test it.
