I'm moving to Abu Dhabi in a month and have been seeing places that advertise "12 cheques rent".


Does this mean monthly rent payment?

Yes it means monthly payment with all the post-dated cheques handed over to landlord in advance.

Yes that's what it means.  12 cheques is kind of a new thing. It's usually less cheques. Yes they use cheques here in UAE lol.  Anyhow if you need help navigating the real estate market here I can help you.
