I'm also bored, I think we should hang out ;-) Where are you staying? I'm only here this week before heading back to New Zealand to get us ready to move over here. Sorry for the late reply - I've just flown back to The Netherlands again yesterday to celebrate my little girl's 1st birthday and won't be back in Istanbul until the end of December as that's when we'll officially move :-) We've found a lovely house on the Asian side and would absolutely love to meet up with all of you then! Hope to keep in touch by forum and email and get to know you all a bit better once moved :-) So nice to make new friends!! Talk soon,

The whole point is it doesn't matter what nationality we are bit we are all expats and that's what we have in common. I think it's ridiculous to limit what nationalities of ex pats can go to an expat meeting. It's not about where u come from it's about where we all are now. Ridiculous

I haven't 'limited' myself to only one site actually. I don't think u quite get the point. If you would like to go and start your own website for purely the nationality of expats you prefer, maybe that would be a better idea

how long have you been in istanbul?
im moving in 10days im rather nervous but excited must say

first of all Australia sound great country
istanbul is little hard city to get socialize rather than other cities so if you dont have friends it might feel even harder to live,,

once you get know people and around city you can make easier to live ,,,i am sure you have idea about landmarks but i suggest visit Taksim ,Sultanahmet, Hagia Shopia,grand bazzar so you can have idea about people and city
