Not at all if u r used to med level levish life then its not enough I can't survive in 14000 with 2 kids in school.. If ur family is  in home country then u may have good life in 10 k as a single .. A normal good house of 2 bed is not les than 35000 which means 3000 per month rest all depend how is ur life style

its a good salary if ur family is in home country as majorly expenses are children fee, school . you may find single accommodation in 10 k and even family accom in Less then 20k , depends on the area.
