Postcards and post office in Jeddah

Hello all

I'm visiting jeddah this weekend and am looking to send a postcard home.

I'll be staying at a hotel on
Old Airport Road
P. O. Box 6719
Jeddah - 21452

Last time I was in Jeddah I couldn't find anything near this hotel.

Does anyone know where I'd need to go to find a place nearby my hotel that sells postcards of Jeddah and maybe even have a post office nearby from where I can post it.

I appreciate I may need to take a taxi to get there. So any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi,
There are some antique shopes near your hotel that usally sells postcards of jeddah, these shopes open only after 6-7 PM. Leaving your hotel main gate you take your right(with the cars flow) walk for about 10 minutes and you will see a traffic light, the shopes will be on your left hand.

For post offices, I really cant think of any nearby ones to your hotel. The one in Balad or the main one in Madinah Road-Palestine street intersection could be the nearest to you(not sure tho)

Thank you for this advice. I'll follow those directions and hopefully find these antique shops.

I'll probably find the post office in balad after getting the postcards.
