Final exit

GuestPoster117

Hi, new member here. I just want to ask question and advise regarding to our rights. I am just confused right now. Its been 4 months now since i was transferred to a new employer. I got my new iqama. Everything is fine but one thing is not right because this company is not providing a contract. My friend here is working for 9 years now and no contract has been provided. According to the saudi labor law if contract is not present the iqama will be equivalent to the duration of work. Now, since the company is not providing a contract and i am not expecting any. I am now thinking of consuming the remaining 4 months of my iqama and request them of final exit. My question is. Should i pay them the cost of iqama transfer? Is this going to be difficult if i wish to go back home? Please any help, advise, and answer. Thanks!

Hi,

You don't have to pay for any thing regarding the transfer of your iqama, its renewal or any thing like that.about the contract there should sign a contract with you but because alot don't do that, your working period from the time you transfer your Iqama is considered as a contract by itself.

Thanks for the reply.
Just in case the company charge me to pay them the amount they have spent for the sponsorship transfer do you have any idea how much?

GuestPoster117

They won't...because it's illegal...in case they try to threaten you...you can go to the Labour office and make a complain...but if you do...don't settle easily till you get all your rights

Hi hello i d like to hear an advice regarding my final exit in this comming of july and my fear is i have a unpaid postpaid plan in zain .there will be a problem in emmigration?

GuestPoster117

Yes sir johny.. I have read about it. You just need to settle it first to the zain. Its unpaid so it means you have to pay for it. You need to clear every transactions before you go.
