he has to get permission from the government to marry a non-saudi.  and i believe, he has to be 30 or over, but i am not sure.

oh man. anyone else remember the thread abotu the woman wanting to marry a saudi, then it turning super bad and her running away or whatever

hi sorry I have not heard about that story and yea my mums family live in jeddah and had introduced my finance to me last year n now we want to get married but like I heard it will not be that easy how it looks

do you realize the HUGE social/cultural/relationship/personality differences between typical muslims and majority of Saudis?  Yes there are outliers that are the amazing cool ones.  but they are few and far in between

It should be quite straight forward as he is a Saudi guy, so shouldnt be to much of an issue and is far easier than if a non saudi guy wants to marry a saudi girl!

Yes he needs to get permission from the Govt, but I dont think he needs to be over 30 and obviously you dont have issue with his residence etc.

I hope it works out, just make lots of dua!

May Allah bless you and your fiance. I married a Saudi National woman and my approval took a 1 year and 6 months. Marrying a non-Saudi staying in Kingdom with residency permit is more easier. Assuming that you have residency permit to stay in Kingdom, the process may take upto 6 months depending on the follow-up of your Fiance. The rule of 30 and above is for Saudi National females marrying non-Saudi.
The permission comes from multiple government agencies until the file goes to Ministry of Interior for final approval.
Requires lots of patience and follow-up.
