housewife, Hep B carrier, IQAMA in KSA

Hi ,

Have you got a job?

Regards
Hi,

I have the similar case but not sure that should i proceed with visa process or not? If they are going to reject it at the end on the basis if Hep b positive then i will not initiate any process.  Just wanted to know about your case? Have you got this job and visa?

Regards,
Hello brother,

Please help me. I have the same scenario as yours, but this is for the year 2019. My wife medical results show the following:

HBsAg - reactive
HIV Ag/Ab - nonreactive
Anti-HCV - nonreactive
Syphilis - nonreactive
HCG (Qualitative) - negative

Help me what are the documents needed to have her iqama and stay with me as dependent in Saudi. Moreover, please tell me where is the hospital you went to have your wife's medical test.

Thank you and appreciate your help!

Unfortunately, the gulf nations including Saudi Arabia are a bit backward when it comes to this and in tackling work health discrimination.

I'd suggest that you make sure your virals are low this can be easily done by meds, also get a fit to work letter from your doctor and send it to the ministry of health government.

They can either allow you to work as normally as people do in the western countries or they can do what they do, the majority of the time and deport and ban you.

Though I love these nations, however when it comes to work discrimination on your health. I would suggest you avoid the gulf middle east nations and Saudi Arabia.

Go to the US or Europe, they are more open-minded and don't have this work discrimination enforced, you'd be able to work with hep b and receive treatment without fear of deportation.

I hope this helps in some way.

@Sameers21 exaxt same situation .. plz tell me what u did.. i have doc clearance letter from a private doctor since my vdrl and rpr are negative. But i am skeptical if they (visa office) will accept this. What should i do

I have same issue. I had hep C but took treatment. I am PCR negative, but will test antibodies positive. Will they grant Iqama

@deltoid I appreciate you share such a positive news regarding this case, I also want to follow the same path and try my luck for the Iqama (Resident ID) of my wife but before I start following these steps, I want to clarify some things.

1-    The letters you had submitted to the Embassy along the unfit medical report, were those letters sent to the embassy via electronic media(email)? Or Physical letters by Post/courier service?

2-    Did you sent the Letters to Saudi Embassy working in your home country or the letters were sent from within Saudi Arabia to the embassy of your home country working in Saudi Arabia?

3-    The “unfit” report was published on GAMCA website or was it from any other Non-GAMCA approved medical center or hospital?

4-    What were the supporting medical evidences did you attached to prove the Unfit report as false in this case?

5-    In the 2nd point you mentioned Medical Cards/Insurance Certificate, are you referring to “GOSI”?

6-    After all these assurances did your wife still went for the blood test to any Efada service approved medical center before she got her Iqama?

7-    If yes, what blood tests were done and did those blood tests effect the outcome of Iqama being approved or rejected?

Hope you take time and answer my questions.

I appreciate you sharing such positive news regarding this case. I am also planning to follow the same path and try my luck in obtaining the Iqama (Resident ID) for my wife. However, before I begin the process, I would like to clarify a few things:The letters you submitted to the Embassy along with the unfit medical report — were they sent electronically via email, or were they physical documents sent through post/courier service? Were these letters sent to the Saudi Embassy in your home country, or were they submitted from within Saudi Arabia to your home country’s embassy located in Saudi Arabia? Was the “Unfit” report issued through the [link moderated] website, or was it from another non-GAMCA approved medical center or hospital? What supporting medical evidence did you attach to prove that the “Unfit” report was incorrect or false? In your second point, you mentioned Medical Cards/Insurance Certificates. Were you referring to GOSI?Even after providing all these assurances and documents, did your wife still have to undergo blood tests at an Efada-approved medical center before receiving her Iqama? If yes, what specific blood tests were conducted, and did those test results affect the approval or rejection of the Iqama?I hope you can take some time to answer my questions. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.
