Al-Salam Aircraft Compound - Jazalah compound

So I have finally found out where I will be housed! The college has rented a 4 bedroom villa in the Jazalah compound that two of us will be sharing. They told me it is brand new and is primarily used by Al-Salam aircraft employees (and is supposed to be 100% western - primarily American). I wanted to know if anyone knows anything about this compound or currently lives here. I have been unable to find a website listed for it online and the only reference I was able to find here was it is off exit 5 and new. I'll hopefully be arriving toward the end if this month, just waiting for the final visa stuff from the handler... It going to be tough since I was supposed to be in the beginning if September and the term had been in full swing for a month now.

U sure it's not jadawel compound?? My friend works for al-salaam aircrafts, and jadawel compound is where they're housed.

If it's Jadawel it's not new but it has been having a face lift lately. There was a coffee morning there this week and as ever it was lovely. Bernie the rec coordinator works so hard to make everyone welcome. The only thing we did hear was that there were only seven families on the whole compound, such a shame, but then the rents are eye watering.

Anyway, welcome to KSA wherever you are put.
