Is work visa for English teacher and Architect possible??

Hi! I am an English Teacher and my husband is an Architect. we are Iranians. We found jobs in Oman online, can we get a work visa from Oman government with our job offers?

Hi fahimegholamy0,

To get an employment visa in Oman, any expatriate must first have a sponsor who must sponsor the candidate for employment.

Direct employment by expatriates is therefore not possible as per Oman's labour laws.

By sponsor you mean an Employer who wants to hire me and pay for my visa fee?

Hello ,

If "found jobs" means you have employment offers from companies or institutions in Oman, then surely they will arrange for you VISA & pay all expenses. yes sponsor means these employment organizations. So you enquire from them. Also there will be offer letter & contract of employment so take care of these before agreeing to accpt job.

Good day!

At present Oman is not issuing new ViSA to countries where they have put travel ban, hence whenever they open , it will hardly take 15 days for sponsor to issue new ViSA.
