Americans in Kuwait!! Help me out!!

crittle73

Hello all!  I'm getting my paperwork together for my visa.  I know I have to have everything authenticated.

But where did you find out what was needed for the medical exam?  I have emailed the Kuwaiti Embassy here, but I haven't received a response.  Is there a form somewhere online that I overlooked?  Any help is greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance!

medical exam requires you to have a chest x-ray and blood tests for serious infectious diseases, such as HIV(AIDS), TB, hepatitis B&C, typhoid and malaria. Also on my form i received, i need to have the doctor take a pregnancy test as well.

hope this helps

This is the list that I received from the service provided by my employer when I came last year.  The last one is uncommon, some type of tropical parasite.

1.       Chest X-ray (for TB)
2.       HIV
3.       Hepa
4.       Syphilis
5.       Malaria
6.       Filiarasis

So you guys got forms from your employers?

Nomad12

Not forms, just detailed list of instructions.  My employer uses a service in the states in the D.C. area that handles all the paperwork and deals with the paperwork with the embassies.

Okay, I gotcha! Thanks everyone.

Thanks to lme, I finally found the list of tests on the embassy website. I just didn't bother to click on "visa" when I looked around there a couple days ago! Problem solved! Thanks again!

Here in the States, I have to have my diploma and transcripts notarized by someone at the universities. Then they are to be certified by the county of the university, then certified by the state of the university. After all that, I have to send them to US Dept of State to be authenticated. At least that is my understanding. I'm starting to hear conflicting stories!

Beey7

its stupid because in the UK our degrees all have the university stamp and a hologram to show that it is genuine!!! Still have to get it done.
